Samsung has released three official video tutorials for its latest Gear 360 camera. The Samsung Gear 360 2017 is the tech giant’s latest panoramic camera released earlier this year. The pricing and availability for the device were announced recently with the device hitting store shelves in the U. S. on May 25. The device is already available for purchase both in the UK and US via Samsung’s website as well as Amazon.com and BestBuy.

The Gear 360 YouTube tutorial videos show both the unboxing and the device setup process. It also gives a guide on how to broadcast video live using the 360-degree camera as well a how users will view and shoot footage using the companion app on compatible smartphones. The guide is explicit enough to attend to all possible question that might arise on using the gadget.

The Gear 360 2017 comes with a new design, which is different from the previous gen Gear 360. The Gear 360 2017 still gets its juice from Samsung’s Tizen OS and also packs dual 8.4-megapixel CMOS sensors with a f/2.2 aperture and fish-eye lens on either side. The highlight of the camera is its ability to record at 4K resolution (4096×2048) at 24 FPS and H.265 encoding. The camera also supports 360 live-streaming at full HD resolution on platforms such as Youtube, Samsung VR and even Facebook. The camera is also capable of capturing top notch 15 MP 360-degree still images. The panoramic camera comes with a microSD card slot and supports up to 256GB storage. the battery supports for 2 hours of recording at 2K resolution. It also features a USB Type-C port instead of the USB 2.0 on the previous version. This makes it easy to charge the device from a smartphone.
